After the grating finish the press welding, generally will do surface treatment. The common is anticorrosion paint, electro galvanization ,hot galvanization. The hot galvanization is the best one. Here mainly illustrate the grating lifttime.
The lifetime of hot galvanized grating is based on its link and if surface zinc layer damage or not .
Specifically, it is the air humidity and PH. The lifetime is up to 70-80 years in dry field, 40-50years in moderate sea, generally 20-30 years in industry, provided that the zinc layer is not damaged.
Generally acidity is more than PH6, alkalinity less than PH12 suitable for hot galvanized grating
Beyond this range, the corrosion resistance of hot galvanized layer will decline rapidly.
