Highway protection mesh is metal mesh panel of machine twisted-pair hexagonal shape, using reinforced wire to strengthen for each 160mm.. The protection mesh is loaded in roll, each roll length is generally 25m-50m. Roll diameter is according to highway size and customer requirement . The Roll type is convenient for loading . 

（2）foundation preparation

The road is generally paved by concrete or asphalt, and recently use hot mastic asphalt  (HMA). Unfold the roll type of protection mesh and lay on the road surface. 

（3）unfold

For ease of installation, unloading removed at intervals of 25m-50m for one roll. After the road bed or basis carefully prepared, it will be able to unfold from the roll top rather than the bottom..

This makes mesh contacted with road surface as much as possible .. Next, use the tire roller to make the level. Rolling back and forth at least twice (4 times), so that the mesh connect with the road surface more tightly . The mesh winding or uneven in the corner is normal . Due to gabion mesh with flexibility, highway protection mesh can be pulled into the required shape in a certain range, and maintain its hardness .

（4）Fastening process

Wire mesh placed in the road surface, each roll should use professional machine to nail the mesh at least the first 4 meters per square meter . Choose the nail according to the terrain, type of foundation, paving materials . Roadbed with a soft granular material, use screw; road with a more rigid material (such as concrete), the spike is a more appropriate choice. Nail length is selected based on roadbed thickness and material strength. The mesh is fixed with a nail, it can prevent asphalt resurfacing when mesh tilt. （5）Reinforcement

We suggest that need to reinforce at least every horizontal 300mm and vertical 150mm . In order to facilitate asphalt laying, it is necessary to put pebbles on the surface .Only places special reinforcement in roll and roll connection . Installation should be according to the steps. When the cover is not thick, need to pay special attention to the mesh laying. It should be do according to the geology, tack coat or primer . It will prevent road cracks, so that the hot mastic asphalt  (HMA) connect with existing surface bonding . No pretreatment but stable mixed layer, you can use the highway protection mesh. When use hot mastic asphalt(HMA) as laying material, highway protection mesh should be below the surface about 50mm; according to the different functions it can also be placed below surface 300mm. Other layer is in accordance with the normal pressure rolling requirements .
