302 stainless steel wire is a kind of general purpose stainless steel alloy, formed by 18% chromium and 8% nickel.
Chemical Balance: carbon up to 15%, manganese up to 2.00%, silicon up to 1.00%. For the characteristics of high
corrosion resistance and good tensile strength, it has become the most widely used stainless steel spring wire.
It generally use the cold drawing method to achieve the spring effectiveness. 302 Spring has good elasticity
in the middle temperature. If properly processed after forming, their hardness is not lower than other spring
material in higher than 500°F circumstance. As some salt magnesium alum change in drawing process, 302 material
will have slight magnetic. The higher the degree of cold rolling, the stronger the magnetic.
