The composition of 316 stainless steel wire is similar with 302, but 316 stainless steel wire has slightly higher nickel content, and 2-2.50% molybdenum make the alloy better corrosion resistance. 316 type tensile strength is lower 10-15% than 302, and the alloy is slightly lower than 302 magnetic in the spring tempering. Its superior cold processing characteristics make it used in extreme cold forming processing and short-term tensile creep strength in the heating conditions .
Usage : sea water equipment , chemical, paper, fuel, acid, fertilizer production equipment, photography, food industry, coastal district facilities and wire rope, CD rods, bolts and nuts .
