20-160 model knitted wire mesh use 0.10-0.30mm wire, knitted into a mesh of interlocking loops, application for liquid/gas separation or gas/water separation in the process of filtration,screening,distillation,evaporation and absorption etc. The mesh has the characteristics of high filtering accuracy,good penetrability,flexibility,
electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity etc.

Characteristics
SS304
Excellent general corrosion resistance, good mechanical strength, and high ductility for easy knitting. It is the most cost-effective and widely used stainless steel for knitted wire mesh.
SS304L
Low-carbon version of SS304. It prevents carbide precipitation during welding, offering superior corrosion resistance around joint areas while maintaining the excellent flexibility and structural integrity required for knitted structures.
SS316
Contains molybdenum, providing significantly higher resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments and organic acids compared to SS304. Ideal for high-performance chemical separation.
SS316L
Low-carbon version of SS316. It eliminates intergranular corrosion caused by welding, making it the industry standard for knitted mesh in highly corrosive chemical, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical processes.
Monel
A nickel-copper alloy offering exceptional strength and resistance to corrosion in seawater, hydrofluoric acid, sulfuric acid, and alkalis. Highly resilient, making it perfect for marine engineering and severe chemical environments.
Nickel
It offers excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, making it suitable for specialized electronic shielding and chemical processing mesh.
Titanium
Outstanding strength-to-weight ratio and exceptional resistance to wet chlorine, nitric acid, and seawater.
Inconel
It exhibits superb oxidation resistance and maintains high mechanical strength at extreme temperatures (up to 1000°C). Widely used in aerospace, engine exhaust insulation, and high-heat demisters.
Copper
Extremely ductile and easy to knit into high-density structures. It features exceptional thermal/electrical conductivity and natural antimicrobial properties. Widely used for RFI/EMI shielding and heavy-duty cleaning mesh.
Polypropylene (PP)
Excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, and organic solvents. Often co-knitted with metal wires to enhance the structural stability and fine-droplet capture efficiency of demister pads.
PTFE
Exceptional chemical inertness, resisting almost all aggressive chemicals and solvents. It operates at higher temperatures than PP, has a very low coefficient of friction, and is hydrophobic. Ideal for mist eliminators in highly corrosive gas streams.
