What is Conical Strainers

Introduction

Conical strainers are not intended to be used for permanent applications, it can be also called temporary strainers.

Temporary strainers have been designed to fit between two flanges and are generally used during commissioning and start-up to remove any course debris.

They are available in three designs to suit a wide range of fluids for process lines, hot water systems, steam and condensate systems etc.

Material

Stainless Steel Wire Mesh: 201, 202, 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 321, 430

Steel Wire Mesh: Q195, Q235, Q275

Expanded Metal Mesh: Standard Diamond Hole, Flattened Diamond Hole

Perforated Metal Mesh: Round Hole, Square Hole

Application

Conical strainers with uniform mesh , large filtration area ,  low resistance , renewable ( repeatedly) etc., it is widely used in oil, gas , water treatment and other fields  as a pipeline system strainers.
