How to order perforated metal?

Before ordering perforated sheets, it needs to specify these three items

1. Material and Thickness

Commonly used materials for perforated metal are:

Hot-rolled and cold-rolled carbon steel

Galvanized Steel

Stainless steel

Aluminum

Brass

Copper

Material thickness is also important to consider, as the fabrication cost is come from the weight.

2. Hole Shape and Size

The commonly produced hole shapes include round holes, square holes and slot holes. However, round hole is the easiest and most economical shape for perforated sheet. Hole size is determined by drawing a circle around the hole shape. Typically the hole size is greater than or equal to material thickness.

3.Margins

Margins refer to the distance from the end of the sheet to the perforated area which is parallel to the end edge.
