How to Replace an Aluminum Screen on a Screen Door

1) Remove the frame and lay it flat on a work surface.

2) Pry the spline out of the groove on the back of the frame.

3) Lift out the damaged screen.

4) Wipe the spline groove clean

5) Lay the new aluminum screen over the frame

6) Cut the screen at a 45-degree angle at the corners.

7) Press the screen into the groove using the convex end of the splining roller.

8) Press the spline into the groove using the concave end of the roller.

9) Trim away excess screen.
